I have been a patient at NMG for 50 years and I have always had the best of treatment from every GP I have consulted, however, since a new method of making appointments has been introduced it is more difficult to see the GP of your choice within a reasonable time. This apart, it is a first class Medical Group in every way.

For over 20 years I have been registered at the medical centre and during that time have received the highest care when needed. I can usually get an appointment within 24 hours if necessary or on occasions the same day following discussions with the receptionists. Towards the end of last year I was very ill and needed to attend the surgery quite often, on all these occasions the care and consideration of the Doctors was exceptional, they took the time to explain everything and advise me what the treatment would entail following hospital visits. Also I find the care of my Mother who is 88 years old very good, following a fall and a severe virus recently when I have phoned a Doctor has been out the same day. If hospital appointments are needed the system is very good with the three hospitals in the area, ie Doncaster, Bassetlaw and Retford are all being looked at to find the earliest time. All in all the treatment for both myself and my family is excellent. After talking to family and friends from other areas I think the Newgate Medical Centre is second to none.

Great all round customer friendly and highly professional practice. Been with the practice for the past 13 years and never had cause to complain. So different from my experiences when I lived in the city of Nottingham.

The receptionists I have found are extremely helpful and accommodating, whether it is a repeat prescriptions, results or appointments.
